Homemade, organic vanilla body butter DIY recipe

If you are anything like me you are obsessed with the smell of vanilla. I mean vanilla everything! I just can not get enough. I have custom created my own organic vanilla body butter using mango butter, rosehip seed oil and argon oil. Naturally fade scares, stretch marks, tighten skin and smell like delicious vanilla without those dangerous chemical , fillers and preservatives traditional body butters contain.

Recipe is as follows

1 cup organic mango butter

1/2 cup organic coconut oil

2 Tablespoons of organic rosehip seed oil

1 Tablespoon organic argon oil

10 drops pure vitamin e oil

20-40 drops pure organic vanilla essential oil

Add your mango butter in a pan or glass measuring cup and place it in a pan of boiling water, stir until melted. Add your coconut oil and stir until melted. Remove from the pan full of water and add vitamin e oil, rosehip seed oil and argon oil. Stir well. Place in the fridge about 20 mins, want it cooled down but not cooled to the point it is a solid. Once cooled add vanilla essential oil. Then at this point you can whip the body butter with a hand mixer or simply scoop out and add into your desired jar of choice. There are no preservatives, stabilizers or chemicals so in hot humid weather it must be kept inside the fridge or it will melt.

  1. Hi there, I am so excited to try this recipe. I am currently going through a faze of making everything myself and I really love being able to make products by using ingredients from my kitchen cupboards.
I love that all the ingredients that you have listed are actually in my cupboard or somewhere else around the house. The only thing I don’t have is the mango butter- where do I get that?

  2. I’m definitely going to have to give this one a try, it sounds luxurious. I love messing around with DIY skin care products and the fact that this one has argan oil and coconut oil which happen to be my two favourite things for homemade skin care make this an absolute must try in my book. Thanks for sharing it.
