Garlic and Ginger steamed broccoli

Just like any parent sometimes getting the kids to eat veggies can be a difficult task.  They don’t like the color, or smell or taste.  I have created a not only tasty steamed broccoli recipe that is easy to make but it is also kid approved.  Let’s jazz up our clean eating routine so we will never get bored eating our veggies.

  • 2 cups of steamed broccoli
  • 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

Steam your broccoli in either a vegetable steamer or just place 1/4 cup of water in a sauce pan with broccoli and cook on med-low heat for about 20 mins.  When done mix together all the ingredients well and pour over the broccoli, mix well.
