DIY Herbal hair growth rinse

It really doesn’t matter your hair type everyone could benefit from a good hair rinse.  It helps balances out your scalps ph balance and with the right essential oils it can help regrow hair or help with thin hair.  Lavender, rosemary, sage and peppermint oil have recently gotten some attention for they can help with hair loss and regrowth by stimulating hair production and normalizing over-long resting phases in the hair growth cycle. Now lets create this easy DIY organic herbal hair growth rinse, shall we?

2 cups distilled Water

3 tablespoons dried Sage

3 tablespoons dried Rosemary

2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

20 drops Lavender essential oil

20 drops Rosemary essential oil

20 drops Sage essential oil

  1. Combine the water with the herbs in a small pot and bring to a boil on the stove.
  2. Remove from the heat and let steep for 1 to 3  hours
  3. Strain out the herbs and pour into a large dark glass bottle.
  4. Add the vinegar and essential oils. Shake well to mix.

After shampooing and conditioning your hair, simply pour it over your hair, rub it into your scalp then  leave it in your hair to dry naturally

  1. I would love to try this herbal hair growth rinse! I have all of the ingredients except for the dried herbs. Do you think it would be as effective without these?

    Also, how do you find that this smells? I’m worried I might smell like apple cider vinegar. Although there is a decent amount of essential oil in there that maybe it would mask the vinegar smell.

    • You can leave the herbs out if you choose to, but I find having them in there helps with the total achived goal. Don’t worry it smells great, you won’t smell the vinegar at all.
